Antique 1940s Porcelain Figurine Man Playing Accordion Occupied Japan
Antique 1940s Porcelain Figurine Man Playing Accordion Occupied Japan
Antique 1940s Porcelain Figurine of Man Playing accordion Made in Occupied Japan. In very good condition considering antique age. No chips or cracks.
This is a highly collectible figurine made in occupied Japan post WWII. Base is stamped. Missing paint areas is under the glaze. Looks Italian by his clothing. Wearing a rust red jacket with blue pants and green hat for that time era. He has a cheery smile.
The vivid hand-painted colors are still bright on this porcelain figurine. Measurement: ABT 51/2 inches in length, 2 1/4 inches in width. Would make a great edition to a collector of fine art pieces. 1945 to 1952 is marked "Occupied Japan" or "Made in Occupied Japan". Also would make a nice gift for a music lover or accordion player. White gift box included for gift giving. Doubled boxed.
