LIke New, Old Store Stock. Exceptional Condition. Beautiful very detailed pewter cheese spreader and pick. Polished pewter handle with a separate little cheese pick of a woman golfer. 19th Century Golf outing motif.

The butter/cheese spreader depicts a man standing holding his golf bag behind him the putting green with the flag at the hole. What is so interesting is that when you turn the spreader over you have the same detail but now it shows the back of the golfer. With the woman golfer we step back in time when women dressed in long skirts, lacy blouses and wide brim hats on the golf course. She has her hand on her cheek and holding the golf club at her waist.

No chips, nicks, cracks or scratches. In exceptional condition and looks fantastic for its age. Cheese spreader measures 4 inches long, 7/8 inches at the widest part. The woman golfer pick measures 1 7/8 inches tall. Gift Box included. Perfect gift for a golfing friend. It would also make a nice conversational piece at your next happy hour party.

Metzke Pewter was founded in 1963 by Dr. Fred W Metzke and wife Mary. Dr. Metzke passed way in 1994. Each product was hand finished and shipped from the Metzke factory in Tallahassee, Florida. Clients included Disney World, Neiman Marcus, The Smithsonian and Dillards.
